Refund and Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your order.  Here are a few things to think about before you order:

Almost everything we sell here is custom made, especially for you or an event/group you are involved with. That being said, custom items are not returnable unless:

  • There is a defect in the item at the time of delivery.
  • There is a difference in the size/color/general product other than what you ordered.

If you discover an issue relating to the above, please contact us within 3 days of receipt to let us know what is wrong with the order so that we can work to resolve it.  We may require pictures or shipping it back to us (shipping will be credited).  We will evaluate the product and then let you know what can be done to resolve the issue.

Digital Proofs for Screen Printing

You will receive a digital proof of your design on a compatible garment background to show the overall image, general placement, and color scheme.

Please note:

  • Colors on the proof may look slightly different than the actual print due to computer/monitor differences.  If you requested and are paying for a specific Pantone PMS color, it will be matched using our mixing system and a Pantone coated swatch book.
  • Logo size will be typed on the proof.  It is your responsibility to verify that the size is acceptable. It is recommended to get a ruler and test that against the garment style for sizing purposes.  In some instances, the logo may be smaller than your original request if you are using it on a broad range of sizes (youth M- adult XL, for example).
  • Once you approve a proof, we will begin the process of create artwork separations, screens, and ink mixes.
  • If you need to change the size of the artwork, or other aspects of the artwork, after the approval and separations/screens/inks have been created for your project, you will be charged $30 per screen and $25 per Pantone mix (if it is not going to be used for the current project)

Digital Proofs and Sewouts for Embroidery

You will receive a digital proof of your design on a compatible garment background to show the overall image, general placement, and color scheme.  For single item embroidery, there will be no sewout proof included unless you request and pay for a sewout proof (usually $5 for small items, $15-$30 for full/large embroidery).  For items of 6 or more, a single sewout proof is included; additional are $5-$15 each.

Please note:

  • Please see our embroidery chart of colors on the Embroidery page and specify which thread color(s) you would like.
  • We mainly use Isacord Poly 40 thread for its durability and color vibrance.
  • If you have a need for a color other than our stock colors, we can usually get that.  If it is for a small order, you will be responsible for the charge to acquire the thread.  If it is for a large (100+) or recurring order, we can add it to stock.  Usual cost to acquire a specific color is $15 per spool + shipping.  For orders of 1-12, one spool is fine, for orders of 12-24 will require 2 spools to run on 2 machines, and over 24 will require 4 spools to run on our multihead Tajima.
  • Your cost to embroider may be high for single items due to setting up small quantity orders.
  • File/image conversion to our embroidery machine format takes time using our Wilcom Embroidery Studio embroidery program (top of the line software).
  • Text only designs using our pre-made fonts is usually included in the price of the embroidery.
  • Logos and detailed graphics will incur a $35+ setup/design/sewout fee per design/style (based upon size).  This fee is waived at 24+ quantity of the same item.
  • Left/right chest, center hat, side hat, full front/back logos are all separate setup/design fees.  If you know you will be using the logo on multiple locations, it is best to go ahead and have use do that all at the same time as it will be cheaper to have use do those at one time.
  • All embroidery files are kept for future use.  They remain the property of Brazos Designs as they are created/edited for use on our machines.
  • Reorders of existing embroidery can be done with low minimums and no need for additional setup fees.  A reorder is considered to be the same design with the same location, same size, and same number of colors with no edits or changes to the design.  You can change the colorway (set of thread colors used) for reorders.  Exception: multiple colorway changes on reorders of less than 12 will incur ‘thread change/colorway change’ fee.
